Stargate: Continuum is the second movie since the mini-series ended. At least, I did not have to wait for it too long since I added it in my rent queue.

The movie review

While watching it, I felt like watching old friends once again. Of course, being done for direct to video, the CGI budget was not much compared to a big budget summer movies but more than a TV episode. At times, they were badly done and others good. I did like the story because of the "what if" aspect of time travel. You will see a lot of old faces in short scenes.

Stargate: Continuum (Blu-Ray) was encoded in AVC and last 1h39. This Blu-Ray release has: 1 commentary, Making of SG(SD), SG goes to the Arctic(SD), 1 Featurette and trailers (HD). I realize that it is a direct to video but the extras were in SD and not in HD. For a sci-fi show(geeks with HD), I don't understand. I guest we will need another year until all most releases have full HD content.

Conclusion

Stargate: Continuum is a rent for your normal person and a buy for the true fans.
