Mini-Review: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

I saw Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince yesterday afternoon. When I arrived in the theater, about 200 people were there already but ended up near 250. I expected it for that movie on a Wednesday afternoon. But, I expected a long lines because the French version had 2 showing versus the 1 showing for the English version in the same hour. Plus, there did 1 showing at midnight for true fans but still a lot of people. Yes, it's summer and vacation time. :D

The review

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is 2h30 with almost 15 minutes of previews. I liked most of the movies in the serie but this one is the dullest of the pack. Don't get me wrong, we learned more about the characters.But, I did tot find many slow scenes in the movie.

Mixing humor and a lot of action was well done and stopped me of falling asleep.  The CGI for most of the scenes were very good.

I should had watched the previous movie again to remember more the story line.

Verdict

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince is a movie that you should see in theater if you can stand the dullest part. I'm sure it will do great at the box office but it's not the best movie.
