The second spinoff of 2 big franchises Aliens VS Predator: Requiem is now available. I wanted to see it at the theater but it was not available in English. Now, I have a chance to see it on Blu-Ray. ;)

What is Aliens VS Predator: Requiem?

A direct sequel to the first movie, the Predator's spaceship crashed near a small town with a few Aliens on board.

The movie review

Aliens VS Predator: Requiem was encoded in AVC and last 1h41:05. I did like it because I had a chance to turn off my brain. I watched the unrated version included in the Blu-Ray disk. It has more violence than the theatrical version(1h33:49). Most of the action scenes are in the dark. The Blu-Ray has trailers, featurettes(HD and SD) , Dbox and commentaries. You can activate an option that indicate the difference between the unrated and theatrical version. I only saw that one after watching it.

You also have the Weyland-Yutani Archives where you can find a lot of information about both species. I found an error in the menu system of the Archives. When you select a species(Xenomorph or Yautja), you get the wrong icon representing the species. So, Xenomorph(Alien) has Arsenal in the menu and the Yautja (Predator) has Biology in it's menu.

The second disk has the digital copy.

Cast: Steven Pasquale, Reiko Aylesworth, John Ortiz, Johnny Lewis
