It's been a while since I saw a movie in theater and to mark that occasion, I saw 2012 tonight. About 300 were already seated and that, I did not expect for a saturday night showing. I imagine the night before were packed too.

What is 2012?



In 2009, a scientist discovers that the Earth will dramatically change in 2012. In 2012, a family will race to get rescued.

The review


2012 is 2h36 with almost 15 minutes of previews. For a November movie, it was more like a summer movie for me. The story(end of world) was simple so not a new subject matter. They added some comic moments and ironic CGI. This movie is mostly about a few main characters and the CGI. On that, it's very well made.

Verdict


2012 is a movie that is a must see movie in theater for the CGI.
