Mini-review: A Knight’s Tale (Blu-Ray)
A Knight's Tale is one of the few movies with Heath Ledger that I do like. But what about the Blu-Ray?
What is A Knight's Tale?
William Thatcher passes himself off for a nobleman to participate in jousting tournament.
The movie review
A Knight's Tale is a very entertaining movie. Using rock music made it more than just a "historical" movie. It's funny and have many jousting scenes for the main action. Shannyn Sossamon changed hair style and dresses very often in that movie. It was longer than I remembered but time passed rapidly. I skipped one scene.
A Knight's Tale was encoded in MPG2 and last 2h12. This Blu-Ray release has: no extras and not even a trailer. It was released 2 years ago when the first batch of Blu-Rays did not have a lot in the extras department.
Cast: Heath Ledger, Rufus Sewell, Shannyn Sossamon, Paul Bettany
The trailer
Trailer: 2m15s
Conclusion
A Knight's Tale is just a rent. Since it has no extras, you better buy it when it drop more in price. At the time of this review, buying it for $20 is way too much money for it.
I would expect that since Heath Ledger is dead, they would create a special collection of his movies or perhaps a special edition of A Knight's Tale nor or in 2011 for the 10 years of the movie.
