Have you ever seen any of The Asylum movies?

You may have seen one or took one by mistake thinking it was the other “movie”. If you don’t know, The Asylum is a studio that make their own versions of the “big” movies of the year. They will put their own a spin on the story. Sometimes, they are not so bad. ;) Those are direct to DVD movies that cost a lot less than their counterparts(1 or 2 millions to make).
Here are some examples of upcoming movies:

I Am Legend = I am Omega (pre-production)
Transformers = Transmorphers (June 26, 2007)
The Invasion = Invasion of the Pod People (July 24, 2007)
Alien vs. Predator: AVP2 = Aliens vs Hunters (pre-production)

Earlier movies:

The Hitcher = The Hitchhiker
Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest = PIRATES OF TREASURE ISLAND
The Da Vinci Code = THE DA VINCI TREASURE
The Omen = 666: THE CHILD

      1-2 Million I only wish you know what one of our crews could do with that kind of money… the biggest budget The Asylum has ever had was only 500 thousand … half of what you thought .. the last one had a budget of only 100K … keep that in mind!

      -PS OMEGA is one of the better films.
      Aliens vs Hunter … Probably the worst…
